Harder Freerolls, Eliminates Chen

Bill Chen and Christian Harder got it all in on the turn of an {8-} {7-} {6-} {2-} board. Both men had {4-} {5-}, but there were a number of problems for Chen. First, he was the shorter of the two stacks. Second, Harder had the {4-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}, and there were already two diamonds on board.

Harder was freerolling for the knockout, and Chen could only hope to split the pot as the best possible outcome.

"The river was real pretty," we'll let Jon Aguiar tell you the story as he told us. "It was one of those diamond things."

Pretty for Harder but not so pretty for Chen. His day is done, and Harder has moved up to about 50,000 with those chips.
