Five Men and a Bracelet

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Our finalists are back in their seats, RedBull Robbie is back on the mic, and the cards are in the air.

We'll crown a new pot-limit hold'em champion tonight.

Shaun Deeb Eliminated in 6th Place ($84,668)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Shuan Deeb - 6th Place
Shuan Deeb - 6th Place

Andy Frankenberger made it 125,000 on the button and Shaun Deeb moved all-in from the big blind for 425,000. Back to Frankenberger who made the call and we had a showdown.

Frankenberger{6-} {6-}
Deeb{A-Hearts} {K-Spades}

Another showdown, another flip…were we going to se another double up?

Flop: {J-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {6-Spades}

Frankenberger spiked a set to take the lead, but Deeb has the broadway straight-draw.

Turn: {Q-Hearts}

BOOM! Deeb does what Deeb does best! His cards just refuse to be beaten. He has once again avoided defeat to hit the broadway straight and Frankenberger looked distraught.

River: {Q-Diamonds}

BOOM! BOOM! We are in the river, Frankenberger has hit the boat and Deeb is left to drown without a paddle. Terrible news for Deeb fans, great news for Frankenberger fans and that was the last hand of the level.

Ivey Loses Flush Over Flush

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Phil Ivey cannot believe his luck
Phil Ivey cannot believe his luck

Phil Ivey raised to 100,000, under the gun, and he took down the blinds before receiving a walk in the big blind. Next it is Ali Eslami's turn to raise from the button making it 100,000 to play and both Ivey (SB) and Manual Bevand (BB) make the call. The flop is {8-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} and Ivey comes out betting for 75,000, Bevand folded and Eslami called. Fourth street is the {7-Hearts} and Ivey was in no mood to put the brakes on; he made it 150,000 and the shade-wearing Eslami went into the tank. A few moments later and Eslami moved all-in, Ivey called and we had a showdown.

Eslami{A-Hearts} {2-Hearts}
Ivey{K-Hearts} {4-Hearts}

Flush over flush and Ivey is left shaking his head in disbelief. The river card is the {7-Diamonds} and Ali Eslami has doubled up through Ivey in a cooler.

Ivey Recovers

Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Phil Ivey opened to 100,000 on his button, and Andy Frankenberger defended his big blind with a call.

The two men check-checked through the {3-Clubs} {9-Spades} {2-Diamonds}. The {3-Hearts} on the turn paired the board, and Frankenberger checked again. When Ivey made his bet of 100,000, though, Frankenberger snuck in a check-raise to 225,000 total. Ivey was undeterred, and he called after just a moment's pause.

The river came the {7-Diamonds}, and Frankenberger stacked up a bet. He had 225,000 in his hands ready to fire, but he thought better of it and checked with one finger. Ivey tapped the rail with an indifferent look on his face.

"Jack-high," Frankenberger announced, reluctant to show. Ivey didn't make him. He quickly tabled his {A-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}, and ace-high gets the job done.

Ivey is back over a million chips and back in contention for the lead. Things are changing awfully quickly here at this pot-limit final table.

Venovski and Frankenberger Clash

Alex Venovski
Alex Venovski

Andy Frankenberger raised to 135,000 from under the gun and Alexander Venovski moved all-in for 365,000 from the next seat. The action folded around to Frankenberger and after a quick count he made the call.

Venovski{A-Spades} {Q-Hearts}
Frankenberger{J-} {J-}

Another flip and another double up. The flop was {Q-Spades} {5-Clubs} {2-Hearts} and Venovski took the lead. The {10-Clubs} on the turn and {2-Diamonds} on the river kept him there and Venovski is now tapping the shoulder of Andy Frankenberger in 3rd place.

Alex Angles Them to the Muck

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Alex Venovski (cutoff) and Phil Ivey (big blind) took a heads-up flop in the last hand. The dealer spread out {Q-Hearts} {5-Spades} {A-Diamonds}. Ivey checked to Venovski, and he made a continuation bet of 60,000. That's as far as he'd go, though. Ivey flicked out a raise to 150,000, and that scared Venovski out with a quickness.

Venovski is down around 380,000 now.

One For Frankenberger and One For Ivey

The action checked through to Manuel Bevand in the small blind and he raised to 135,000. Andy Frankenberger is still his big blind nemesis and he made the call. The pair checked through to the turn on a board of {K-Hearts} {J-Clubs} {9-Spades} {3-Spades} and Frankenberger won the pot with a 110,000 bet.

Then Ali Eslami raised to 85,000, Phil Ivey three-bet to 300,000 and Eslami mucked his hand.
