Kasella in Fine Form

2010 World Series of Poker Player of the Year, Frank Kasella is having a field day of late. Just a short while ago we brought you the action of a big hand he took down and recently he has been at it again.

In the hand in question, Kasella and one opponent both committed 5,800 preflop to watch as the dealer spread three cards across the felt.

Flop: {7-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

This is where all the play started heating up. Kasella led for 9,800 and his opponent quickly popped it to 21,200. Back on Kasella and he would make it 48,800. Kasella's opponent then shoved his stack in the middle and Kasella made the call.

Kasella: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Kasella was in front at this stage, but when the dealer slammed over an {a-Diamonds} on the turn, Kasella's chance of taking down the hand was left slim. However that would all change as a {q-Clubs} completed the board on the river, sending the large pot to Kasella and one player out of this tournament.
