James Dempsey's playing his 10th event of the summer here today, and all he wants is to make a day two. He's making a good fist of it as he rose to 13,500 chips after getting Simon Charette off a hand.
Charette opened from the hijack and Dempsey was the only caller from thew small blind. The flop was spread as 
and Dempsey check-called a 350 bet before both players checked the 
turn.
Dempsey took this as his opportunity to to lead for lead for 1,100 on the 
river. Charette didn't have the goods and folded.
