Another Bracelet Winner Down

Dutch Boyd
Dutch Boyd

Dutch Boyd had done some building since the last time we checked in with him, but the former WSOP bracelet winner was just eliminated over at Table 436.

In the hand that left him crippled, Boyd raised preflop to 2,400 and Ismael Bojang three-bet to 3,600 from the cutoff. Boyd called and the two players saw a flop of {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. Boyd checked-raised Bojang's flop bet, but Bojang immediately fired back with a three-bet. Boyd called with just 3,000 chips behind, and the dealer rolled out the {J-Spades} on the turn. Boyd checked and then went into the tank after Bojang put in his big bet. After a few minutes and some chatter from Bojang, Boyd released his hand.

Boyd was eliminated on the very next hand, meaning he'll have to wait another day to chase after his third WSOP bracelet.
