Bryan Pimlott Eliminated in 13th Place ($9,467)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Scott Clements has been tearing it up on his table, now up to 590,000 in chips after taking a big pot off Bill Davis before eliminating Bryan Pimlott.

Earlier, Clements came in with a raise and the action folded around to Davis who called from the small blind to go heads-up to a flop of {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}. Davis check-called Clements after the flop, then did the same on the turn of the {4-Diamonds} and the river {2-Diamonds}. Clements' {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} were more than enough to take that pot down and become the first person to move past the magical 500K chip mark.

A short time later, the action folded around to Pimlott who came in with a button raise; Clements three-bet it, but Pimlott shot back with the four bet. Not to be deterred, Clements five-bet it, so Pimlott opted to just call, leaving himself with just 2,000 as they went to the flop of {3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

Both players elected to just stick the chips in and table their cards:

Clements: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Pimlott: {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The turn and river ran out {8-Hearts}, {K-Clubs} and Pimlott was no more. If it was any consolation, Pimlott was the first player to bank
