Guillaume Darcourt on Day 2
Guillaume Darcourt on Day 2

Another two hours have passed and according to the tournament clock, we’re down to 1,314 players at the end of this level. There have certainly been some big movers throughout, including Guillaume Darcourt, who now has 880,900 in chips, as well as Anton Ionel, who is now second overall in chips after being on the right end of the uber-cooler.

Daniel Negreanu, Isabelle Mercier, T.K. Miles and Phil Hellmuth have been gradually working their stacks up, however 2010 November Niner John Racener wasn’t so lucky, heading to the rail along with two former World Champions – Tom McEvoy (1983) and Joe Cada (2009).

The players are on a very short 10-minute break and the TV crew must stick to their production schedule, so with the impending stampede, excuse us while we duck and cover!
