2011 World Series of Poker
On a flop of , Jonathan Little checked from the small blind and was followed by the player in the big. With action on another player in middle position, he fired out 850, which both checkers called.
After the dealer burned and turned the , it went check-check to the middle-position player and he bet 2,250. Little sat motionless for about 30 seconds before announcing, "All in." The 16,825 raise was too much for the big blind and he quickly folded. The middle-position player thought for a long while, constantly double checking his cards, before flicking them to the muck.
Little took down the pot without a showdown and is up to 24,000.

We only have the tail end of this hand, joining the pot as the river card came out on the board. There was about 18,000 in the middle already, and Andrew Chen made the leading bet of 9,500. His opponent was Nichoel Jurgens, and she spent a long while in the tank, considering the decision for most of her remaining chips. She only had 14,325 left in fornt of her, and after several minutes of agony, she threw 10,000 of them into the middle to make the call.
Chen quickly showed up , the nuts. Peppe couldn't beat it, and she looked a little displeased as she mucked, dropping back to just 4,825.
Chen is closing in on the century mark, stacking up just over 97,000 chips after that pot.
With about 8,000 in the pot and the board reading , an opponent of Joe Tehan's bet 2,000.
Tehan popped it to 10,000 and was quickly called. It was the nuts for Tehan as he showed , besting his opponent's .

A player under the gun limped, then Eric Buchman, sitting to his left, raised to 800. It folded back to the big blind who called, and the limper called as well.
The flop came and it quickly checked to Buchman. The player in the big blind rechecked her cards as the fourth-place finisher in the 2009 WSOP Main Event bet 1,200. She called, as did the player in between her and Buchman.
The turn then brought the , pairing the board. It checked to Buchman again, and he bet 2,500 this time. The big blind paused about 20 seconds, stealing a glance at Buchman as she did, then let her hand go. Buchman's other opponent folded as well.
Buchman has about 35,000.
Doug Lee and an opponent were heads up with the board reading . Lee tossed 2,775 into a pot of about 5,000, and his opponent called. The on the river paired the board, and without thought Lee fired 6,075. His opponent tank-called.
Lee opened up , and his opponent mucked.
"King-queen," he told Lee.
Lee silently stacked his chips, and now sits with 53,000 in his stack.

Over at Jordan "Scarface79" Smith's table there was an early position limper, the cutoff raised to 600 and the button called. Smith was in the small blind and popped it to 2,600. Smith's squeeze cleared the field and he stacked a small pot and is just above the starting stack.
We've already spotted Australian Team PokerStars Pro Tony Hachem in the field, so it was only natural that his big brother and 2005 WSOP Main Event champion Joe Hachem was also going to be around here somewhere.
And find him we did - naturally, he's in the "True Blue" section (which also features fellow Australian players Kristian Lunardi, Rayan Nathan and Shane Shalders) on table 280 and we just witnessed a huge hand there which saw him chip up to almost 50,000.
From the UTG +1 position, Hachem raised to 450 and the action folded to another player in middle position who re-raised to 1,400. The big blind called and Hachem leaned over the dealer and asked the middle position player how much he had left. The middle position player laid his chips out, revealing that he had about 12,200 behind.
Hachem elected to call, then all three players checked the flop of before Hachem led out for 2,725 after the big blind checked to him on the turn of the . The middle position player called and the big blind folded, then Hachem pushed out 25,000 on the river, which was a repeat .
The middle position player quickly called all-in, but stormed out in a fury after Hachem rolled up for the full house. That's a whole lot of sugar to be passed right there - BAM!

On a flop, the big blind checked, and the under-the-gun player bet 1,500. Player 3 called next door, and Shawn Sheikhan put in a raise to 5,700 to thin the field. The big blind and the bettor folded, but Player 3 called again to proceed heads-up.
"You love to call me," Sheikhan told him, hinting at some history between the men today. In any event, the turn came the , and now Player 3 led out with a bet of his own, 3,500. Sheikhan flatted there, and both players checked through the river that paired the board.
Sheikhan showed for the little full house, but it was good enough to drag the pot, moving him up to about 35,000.
