Katchalov Can't Catch, Eliminated

Eugene Katchalov

Eugene Katchalov had slowly been grinded down throughout the day, and had just about 7,500 chips when he decided to make a stand. He shoved all of his chips in early position, and Johannes Van Til was the only caller.

Katchalov: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Van Til: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

Katchalov would have to win a flip to survive, and the flop gave him no help, coming {2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. The {9-Spades} on the turn didn't help either, and Katchalov would need an ace or king to continue on. The river brought the {10-Hearts}, and he was eliminated, ending his 2011 WSOP.
