Hand #235: Pius Heinz

Level 41 : 800,000/1,600,000, 200,000 ante

Martin Staszko raised to 3.5 million, and Pius Heinz took that pause that indicates a potential three-bet. Sure enough, he made it 10.2 million total, and his three-bet got through uncontested.

Less than a million chips separate the two men now.

Hand #234: Pius Heinz

Level 41 : 800,000/1,600,000, 200,000 ante

From the button, Pius Heinz raised to 3.4 million. Martin Staszko called from the big blind and the flop came down {J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. After Staszko checked, Heinz bet 3.8 million. Staszko called.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Staszko checked. Heinz bet 7.8 million and won the pot right there.

Hand #233: Pius Heinz

Level 41 : 800,000/1,600,000, 200,000 ante

Martin Staszko had the button, and he limped in. Once again, Pius Heinz raised to 5.1 million, and Staszko called again to head off to the flop with more than 10 million already in the pot.

The dealer spread out {9-Spades} {4-Clubs} {2-Hearts}, and Heinz took the same line as last time with a repeat bet of 5.1 million. Staszko flatted, the {3-Hearts} hit the turn, and Heinz pulled back the reigns and checked. Staszko took his cue to bet 7.5 million at the pot, and Heinz eventually came along with the call.

The {5-Clubs} rivered, and Heinz checked again. Staszko checked it down, but his hand was second-best. We never got to see it, because Heinz's {10-Spades} {9-Diamonds} was good enough to earn him the pot and draw him back to within striking distance with more than 90 million.
