Vaughan Wins Battle of Brazil

We caught up with the action heads up on an {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop between two Brazilians. It appeared as though Jose Vaughan bet 6,600 but Alexandre Gomes certainly raised the pot. Vaughan called all in for his last 24,000 more or so.

Vaughan: {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Gomes: {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

Vaughan was ahead with top and bottom pair but Gomes had higher two pair outs to go along with his nut-low draw. The {K-Diamonds} on the turn gave Gomes some additional high hand outs but the {A-Hearts} filled Vaughan up who doubled.
