"I Think it Was a Good Gamble with All the Money in the Middle."

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

A late position raiser made it 450 to preflop and got four callers, including Bill Chen, but the fifth moved all in. The original raiser folded, the player in the ten seat called, the player in the three seat called and Chen called as well.

"I think it was a good gamble with all the money in the middle," Chen said as he tabled {K-Spades} {6-Spades}.

Three Seat: {A-Clubs} {Q-Spades}
Ten Seat: {A-Hearts} {8-Hearts}
Chen: {K-Spades} {6-Spades}

The board ran {2-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} and surprisingly the best hand won and tripled up. Chen made his way for the door wondering out loud if he should play tonight's 5:00 p.m. PLO8 event.

Duhamel's Hand Holds

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

On a {2-Spades}{9-Spades}{q-Hearts} board, Duhamel check-raised his opponent's 350 chip bet to 925. His opponent moved all in for about 2,000 and Duhamel made the call.

Duhamel: {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
Opponent: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

Duhamel had to fade a lot of outs with his set and did just that on the {3-Hearts} turn and {10-Diamonds} river. With that pot, he chips up to 9,000.

Chick & Chu Are Coming For You!

The Australian contingent of the PokerNews Live Reporting Team stumbled upon two renowned poker personalities paired up on table 121 - that of renowned poker blogger and 2009 ANZPT Melbourne Main Event runner-up Heath "TassieDevil" Chick and 2007 Melbourne Poker Championship winner Haibo Chu.

We even got some chip counts and a hand with Chu in it. That's because we're cool.

From early position, Chu raised to 275 and another player in middle position called, as well as the player on the button to go three-handed to a flop of {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}. Chu and the middle position player checked to the button who opened for 325, Chu called and the middle position folded, then Chu and the button checked down both the turn of the {10-Spades} and the river {K-Diamonds}.

Chu showed {A-Hearts}{5-Spades} and the button tabled {A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} - that's what we call a chopportunity, folks.
