Lamb Quads

No-Limit Hold'em

Sebastian Ruthenberg opened to 25,000 from middle position, Sebastien Sabic called in the small blind, and Ben "Benba" Lamb defended his big. All three players knuckled on the {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, and the turn was the {a-Spades}. Sabic checked, Lamb fired 38,000, Ruthenberg folded, and Sabic called.

The river was another ace - the {a-Hearts} - and Sabic checked a third time. Lamb quickly bet 160,000, forcing Sabic to go into the tank. Sabic eventually called, and Lamb opened up {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for quad aces.
