Phillips Takes a Bad Beat
We missed the hand that saw the end of Dennis Phillips day, but his tablemates were kind enough to tell us of the dramatic fashion in which he went out. Apparently Phillips went all in preflop holding none other than which was well ahead of Rusty Brooking's . Unfortunately for Phillips, Brooking flopped the joint when the flop came giving him a straight and a straight-flush draw. The turn and river were blanks and Phillips hit the rail.
