Michaelo Not Messing Around

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

It appears that Dror Michaelo is getting a little antsy. In one hand, Warren Wooldridge raised to 180,000 from the small blind and Michaelo pushed all in for over 3,000,000 from the big blind eliciting a fold from Wooldridge.

Not long after that hand, Maxim Lykov raised to 175,000 on the button and Michaelo shipped his whole stack in again prompting Lykov to fold.

If he continues to make big moves we could see another double up or elimination soon but only time will tell.

Lykov and Michaelo Duking it Out

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Maxim Lykov raised on the button to 175,000 and Dror Michaelo called from the big blind. Both players checked after the flop came {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and again after the turn brought the {j-Diamonds}. When the {10-Spades} hit on the river Michaelo checked again and Lykov tossed out a stack of green T25,000 chips totaling around 250,000 but we couldn't even get an accurate count as Michaelo quickly folded and the pot was shipped to Lykov.

On the next hand, Michaelo raised to 240,000 from the small blind and Lykov called. The flop came {k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Michaelo bet 300,000. Lykov then asked Michaelo how many chips he had behind and after Michaelo moved back to allow Lykov to view his stack Lykov folded his hand.

Max Lykov raised to 175,000 from the button and Dror Michaelo made it 425,000 from the big blind which Lykov called to see a {K-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop.

Michaelo led out for 600,000 and after some contemplation, Lykov made the call. The turn was the {J-Clubs} and Michaelo continued the aggression with another bet of 600,000 which again the Russian called.

The river was the {A-Diamonds} and Michaelo tanked before checking and Lykov instantly checked back. Michaelo turned over {J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} but Lykov scooped a huge pot with {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} to increase his chip lead further.

Ren Ho Zhang Eliminated in 4th Place ($213,539)

Ren Ho Zhang - Eliminated in 4th Place ($213,539)
Ren Ho Zhang - Eliminated in 4th Place ($213,539)

In the hand immediately following Stanislav Alekhin's elimination, Maxim Lykov raised to 175,000 from the hijack and Ren Ho Zhang called from the big blind. The flop came {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Zhang checked, Lykov bet 185,000, and Zhang called.

The turn was the {k-Spades} and Zhang again opted to check-call a bet from Lykov, this time for 285,000. When the {8-Clubs} came on the river Zhang thought for a minute before announcing he was all in. Lykov snap-called and by the look on Zhang's face it was evident that that was not what he wanted.

Lykov revealed his {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a king-high flush and Zhang revealed his {10-Spades}{9-Hearts} for nothing but a bluff. Zhang was sent to the rail with a $213,539 consolation prize as Lykov added even more chips to his stack.

Harald Olsen Eliminated in 5th Place ($159,134)

Harald Olsen
Harald Olsen

After a few 'raise and take it' hands, Harald Olsen moved all in from the small blind, Warren Wooldridge checked his cards and looked a little pained but after about 30 seconds, he made the call.

Harald Olsen: {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Warren Wooldridge: {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}

The flop of {10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades} brought no help to either player and neither did the {10-Diamonds} on the turn, Olsen needed to make a pair but he couldn't on the {5-Diamonds} river. Wooldridge picks up a big pot as we drop down to four players.
