Action folded to a short stack in the cutoff and she moved all in for 225. The small blind came along and Nancy Todd Tyner called the extra 25 from the big blind. The two active players proceeded to check down every street as the board ran out .

Tyner:
The kings and tens of Tyner were the best hand and she took down the small pot while eliminating an opponent. Tyner is sitting with around 4,000.
The under-the-gun player limped and Liv Boeree raised to 500 from middle position. Action folded around to the player in the big blind, who called. The original limper came along as well.
The flop came and both players checked to Boeree, who fired a 700 c-bet. The big blind player then raised to 2,200 and action folded back to Boeree, who thought for a bit and then mucked a face up.
"I'll show one time," her opponent said as she tabled for a flopped set.
Despite slipping to 5,100, Boeree cracked a smile knowing she made the right lay down.
Valerie Stephens has reduced the male player count by one, having busted a kindly gent after he got the last of his money into the middle before the flop with , only to watch after Stephens' improved to a full house on the board of .
Another French player at the table handed Stephens a $100 note; as it turns out, the gentleman was in fact playing for charity and his friends were offering the $100 as a bounty on his head.
Patrick Devini was playing for a breast cancer charity as well, but he was busted at the hands of Shola Akindele after getting the last of his chips into the middle with , but ran into Lori Miller's . Even so, both players lost out to Akindele's after the dealer spread the board of .
Erica Schoenberg came late to this event, as she had made Day 2 of the Mixed Hold'em event that started yesterday. She came in during level 3 with under her starting stack, but she has absolutely crushed her table, running her stack all the way up to 23,000 in just a few hours. We will be sure to keep our eye on Schoenberg, as she is one of the few big names left in the field.
Traci Brown was one of only two women to qualify for this year's WSOP-Circuit National Championshiip that was held at Caesars Palace back in May, thanks to a second-place finish in the WSOP-C Choctaw $1,600 Main Event for $143,462.
Brown is in the field today and looking to improve on her 11th-place finish in last year's Ladies Championship, which earned her $10,833. In a recent hand, Brown called an opponent's all-in bet of 1,750 on a flop of .

Both the turn and river blanked for Brown, dropping her to 6,900.
Vanessa Sene raised to 500 from the UTG +1 position and the action folded around to Alexandra Petitjean who re-raised from the big blind; it was more enough to put Sene all-in.
Sene:
Petitejean:
Petitejean picked up the gut-shot Broadway draw on the flop of , but Sene set herself up with the on the turn. The river completed the board and now both ladies are around 10,000 in chips each.
On the last break, PokerStars Team Pro (UK) Liv Boeree told us that things were in a holding pattern for her here in the Ladies Championship. We decided to go check on the EPT San Remo Champion to find her involved in a hand with a board reading .
The woman in the big blind had just bet 1,600 into the 2,200 pot and action was on Boeree. She tanked for a solid minute before splashing in a call, prompting the cutoff to fold behind. "Straight," the big blind announced as she tabled . Boeree just shook her head and tossed her cards to the muck. She is down to 3,700.
If you're reading this, then it is probably a safe assumption that you're not playing the Ladies Championship with Boeree. Fear not, as you can play with her online over on PokerStars. You might also be able to catch her on a European Poker Tour stop . . . after the WSOP of course.
