Pescatori Crippled

Limit Hold'em

Max Pescatori raised from the cut off and found one caller in a big blinded Matt Hawrilenko. After the dealer put out a {10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop Hawrilenko checked and Pescatori bet and was summarily raised by Hawrilenko. After Pescatori made the call the dealer burned and turned the {5-Spades}. Hawrilenko bet and Pescatori simply called.

The river {7-Clubs} brought another bet from Hawenko and a raise from Pescatori. After Hawrilenko called he flipped over {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a set of tens. Pescatori couldn't beat a set of tens, but still showed the table {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a set of twos.

Jaffe Crippled; Eliminated

Limit Hold'em

Jonathan Jaffe raised preflop from the button and was three-bet by Adam Sanders from the small blind. Jaffe made the call and the flop came {9-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{K-Hearts}. Sanders bet out and Jaffe made the call. The turn was {8-Hearts} and Sanders bet out once more. Jaffe put in a raise and Sanders pushed out a call.

The river brought {9-Clubs}. Sanders pushed out one last bet that Jaffe called. Sanders tabled {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} and was able to scoop the pot, knocking Jaffe down to about 70,000.

The very next hand Jaffe entered a pot with Matt Matros where Matros three-bet him preflop and led out on the flop and the turn. Matros was able to take down the pot when Jaffe folded on the turn, leaving himself with only 40,000 behind. He was eliminated on the very next hand, sending the players into their second re-draw for the final two tables.

Limit Hold'em

Dylan Drazen raised from under the gone and was summarily rereaised by a short stacked Jimmy Fricke. Action then folded around back to Drazen who three bet to put Fricke all in.

Fricke: {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Drazen: {10-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

Fricke then said "let's win a race" and the dealer spread out five cards and they came {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Hearts} giving Drazen a full house and Fricke a ticket home.

A Crazy Three-Way

No Limit Hold'em

Action folded to Aalok Arora in the cutoff who raised to 8,500. Patrick Renkers then re-raised to 20,500 from the button only to have Matt Sterling push all in for 107,000 from the small blind. The big blind got out of the way and Arora went all in over the top for a total of 123,000. Renkers, who had both the other players covered, opted to call and it was a three-way all in.

Renkers: {J-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Sterling: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Arora: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The flop came {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} leaving Renkers in the lead but the {q-Diamonds} hit on the turn giving Arora a pair of queens. The {a-Diamonds} on the river was just icing on the cake for Arora who nearly tripled his stack to 357,000 while Sterling was eliminated in 21st place.

Battle of the Blinds

No Limit Hold'em

Peter Akery in the small blind only had to worry about Noah Boeken in the big blind seeing as they were the only two players who didn't fold. Akery raised it up and made it 9,000 for Boeken to see a flop. Boeken then reraised and put out a bet that would put Akery all in. Akery amde the call and both players tabled their cards.

Boeken: {A-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Akery: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

The cards fell {5-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. With Boeken spiking his ace on the flop Akery was dead to a nine, one never came and Akery was eliminated.

Cazemier: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Meyers: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}

Cazemier looked poised to double until the flop came {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} giving Meyers a pair of kings and the lead. The turn and river brought the {6-Clubs} and {9-Hearts} and Cazemier was eliminated while Meyers chipped up to a whopping 675,000.

Hard Time For Fricke

No Limit Hold'em

On a {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, Scott Montgomery checked to Jimmy Fricke who fired out 12,000. Montgomery made the call and the turn brought the {6-Diamonds}. Both players checked and the {7-Spades} rivered. Both players checked once again and Montgomery tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a set of sixes and enough to scoop the pot.
