Pescatori Sends Sorel Mizzi Soaring to the Rail
No Limit Hold'em
We managed to catch up to the action just in time to witness Sorel Mizzi raising preflop from early position making it 2,600. It folded around to Max Pescatori in the small blind who reraised and made it 6,200. Sorel Mizzi then took a mild tank session toying with his chips, thinking about his options before he ultimately three-bet and put out a 13,600 chip raise. Pescatori called and was allowed to see a flop.
all made an appearance on the flop. Pescatori then checked, and Mizzi wasted no time and moved all in. Pescatori instantly called and flipped over for a full house. Mizzi hopelessly showed for ace high. If Mizzi was going to win this hand he would need running aces or queens.
The slammed the door on all Mizzi's desperate hopes and Pescatori had it wrapped up with quad nines. A meaningless then rolled off the deck for the river.
