Hamlett Sends One Home
It was the battle of the blinds as everyone but the blinds opted to skip the hand. Eugene Katchalov in the small blind raised and was summarily reraised by Thomas Hamlett in the big blind. After Katchalov made the call he took two cards, while Hamlett only took one.
Katchalov then check-called a bet from Hamlett and opted to take another two cards. Hamlett still saerching for that perfect card took only one again. Hamlett again put out a bet this time enough to put Katchalov all in. Katchalov made the call and was at risk.
Katchalov took one last card while Hamlett stood pat. Hamlett then showed for a nine low. Katchalov was unable to counter as all he could produce was , for a pair of threes.
