Dwan Continues To Make Moves
We told you before how Tom Dwan was down to only 700 chips during the last level of Day 1, and how he somehow managed to get that number up over 10,000 before the end of the day. Now, he has nearly doubled himself up here early on Day 2.
Jean-Robert Bellande raised it up from early position and got calls from Dwan and Dany Georges. All three players drew two cards each and continued the betting.
Georges bet out 600 and Bellande raised it up to 1,200. Dwan and Georges called and each player drew one. Again, Georges bet out and both Dwan and Bellande called. Georges stood pat and both Dwan and Bellande again drew one.
Georges bet out one last time after the third draw, Bellande folded, and Dwan called and showed to have the pat of Georges beat. Dwan is up to 17,000 and now has plenty of chips to play with.
