Seiver Triples Back

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Note that before this hand, Scott Seiver got really short on chips. The tournament staff missed the color up and was rushing around during play to do the color up of the T500 chips. Because of this, our team was unable to get in and see the action, which is why it was missed on how Seiver got so short.

Seiver raised from under the gun and Justin Bonomo called from the cutoff. Eli Elezra called from the small blind and the three players were off to the first draw. All three drew two and then action checked to Bonomo. He bet and both his opponents made the call.

On the second draw, Elezra and Seiver both took two while Bonomo took one. Elezra checked, Seiver checked and Bonomo bet. Elezra called and then Seiver called and was all in. After the betting, Elezra drew one, Seiver stood pat and Bonomo drew one. Elezra and Bonomo checked.

Seiver showed {9-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-} and that was the winning hand. He won the pot and tripled to 120,000.
