Sowers Eliminates Pesek

After losing a big race to [Removed:388] and was left with a short stack, Michael Pesek moved all in from the cutoff for his last 95,000 and was called by Mike Sowers on the button. The blinds got out of the way and it was heads up.

Sowers: {A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Pesek: {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Sowers was ahead, but not after the flop fell {9-Spades}{J-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Pesek had paired his jack to take the lead and left Pesek drawing to an ace or running cards. Unfortunately for Pesek, the situation would be reversed as the {A-Clubs} spiked on the turn. Suddenly it was Pesek who needed to catch to stay alive.

The dealer burned one last time before putting out the {K-Diamonds}. Pesek was eliminated in 24th place while Sowers chipped up to 830,000.
