Poker Vox Pop: Bernard Lee

Bernard Lee
Bernard Lee

On one of the final hands of the level we found Bernard Lee check-calling 6,200 on a {3-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{Q-Spades} board to see the {Q-Clubs} land on the river. Lee was then faced with a 7,500-chip bet which - after deliberating for some time - he called only to muck at the sight of his opponent's {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}. Although Lee slipped to 16,000 after the hand, he happily took a few moments of his time to take part in the next Poker Vox Pop instalment.

Aces.

WSOP Event you most want to win?
The $10,000 Main Event.

Will Phil Ivey play an event at this World Series?

Most admired poker player?
Joe Hachem. I believe that the unofficial responsibility of the Main Event Champion is to be a great ambassador for the game, and Joe has been the best since Chris Moneymaker.
