Two Pair Good for Schaff

Action folded to the hijack seat and that's where Dario Alioto was seated. He raised to 6,000 before Tom Marchese could make the call from the cutoff seat. In the small blind, Aaron Schaff made the call and then the player in the big blind also called.

All four players saw the flop come down {K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and action checked around to see the {2-Hearts} fall on the turn. Action checked through to Marchese, who was last to act on every street post flop. Marchese fired 17,500 and only Schaff made the call to see the river.

The river was the {10-Spades} and Schaff checked. Marchese also checked. Schaff announced that he had two pair and showed the {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Marchese mucked his hand and Schaff won the pot with eights and deuces.
