Rami Boukai Eliminated in 9th Place ($23,119)
PLO
After a very uneventful round of pot-limit hold'em, the game switched to PLO and the action heated up immediately. It began when Rami Boukai, who if you recall won this very event back in 2009, raised preflop only to have Tyler Patterson bully with his big stack by making it 100,000 to go. Action folded back to Boukai and he moved all in for around 150,000 total. Patterson made the easy call and the cards were flipped.

The crowd was on its feet after seeing the two quality hands. Boukai knew he was in trouble and would need some help, which he didn't get on the flop. However, the gave him a bunch of chop outs and gave Boukai's supporters some enthusiasm. Unfortunately for them, it would all be for naught as the blanked on the river.
Boukai hopes of capturing this title for the second time in three years came to an end as he became our ninth-place finish, good for $23,119.
