Blanovsky Doubles Through With Nut Straight

Michael Blanovsky Doubles Through With The Nuts
Michael Blanovsky Doubles Through With The Nuts

Michael Blanovsky found his stack dwindling and decided to raise to 200,000 from the button. Arkadiy Tsinis wanted to see the flop and made the call.

Flop: {4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

Tsinis tapped the table and Blanovsky made it 150,000 to go. After Tsinis called, the turn card came {Q-Hearts} and both players checked.

River: {8-Diamonds}

Tsinis led out on the river with a big bet of 500,000 and Blanovsky pushed right back, sliding his entire stack forward for an all-in move. After some thought, Tsinis looked to finish things off and made the call with his {8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a rivered two-pair.

While the river was a good card for Tsinis, it was the best card for Blanovsky and he revealed the {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the nut straight. The double-up pushed Blanovskly to 3,440,000 and put a dent in Tsisni's chip lead.
