We Have a New Chip Leader

We caught up with the action on a {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Spades} flop. Kyle Keranen was heads up with another player, Thomas Miller. Keranen put out a bet of 20,000 on the flop and Miller called.

The {5-Hearts} turn brought a check from Miller and a 50,000 bet from Keranen. After a few minutes passed Miller announced raise and made it 150,000. Another few minutes passed and Keranen announced all in. At this point in the hand out of the nine players seated at the table only one player was sitting down. Every one was standing, and there were a handful of players from other tables around the area simply watching to see what would happen in this monstrous pot. Miller called and showed {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a set of fives. A distraught Keranen flipped {J-}{J-} for a pair of jacks.

Keranen wasn't dead yet as there was still a river to be dealt. A meaningless {9-Spades} rang off the deck, and Miller doubled up and has taken a commanding chip lead in this tournament. Keranen has essentially been crippled with less than 50,000 in chips.
