Moriarty Busts Lamarra

Ryan Moriarty was in the cutoff and put in a raise to 2,400 after action folded around. A short-stacked Anthony Lamarra was in the small blind and opted to move all in for his last 10,000. Moriarty thought for about 30 seconds before making the call.

Moriarty: {6-Spades}{9-Spades}
Lamarra: {A-Spades}{4-Clubs}

Lamarra was ahead preflop, but the {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} flop delivered Moriarty a pair of sixes to take the lead. The {4-Spades} turn gave Lamarra a pair, but he still needed to pair one of his hole cards to stay alive. The dealer burned and revealed the {5-Diamonds}, giving Moriarty the pot and sending Lamarra home early on Day 2.
