On the turn, Barbaro check called Waxman’s bet. Once the hit the river, Barbaro led out. Waxman asked if Barbaro had flopped the nuts and after a few minutes, made the crying call. Barbaro indeed flopped the nuts with and moved up to 1,135,000 after the hand while Waxman dropped down to 765,000.
Humberto Brenes made it three bets from the small blind against button raiser Francesco Barbaro. There was heavy action on a flop between Richard Monroe and Matthew Waxman. On the turn, Waxman bet and Monroe called. When the hit the river, Waxman bet enough to put Monroe all in. He made the call and Waxman showed for top set which was good enough to eliminate Monroe. Waxman was up to 980,000 after the hand.
