Pearson Surges Back Ahead

Pot-Limit Omaha

We joined a growing pot on the turn as the board showed {A-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}. Travis Pearson was first to act, and he put out a bet of 40,000 into a pot of ~62,000. Josh Weiland folded, Shaun Deeb called, and David Whitis tanked and called. On the river {3-Diamonds}, all three players checked.

Whitis missed his club draw, and Pearson showed {A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {9-Clubs} to take the whole pot. With it comes the chip lead once again.
