Rouleau Rides the River

We caught up with the action on a flop of {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Daniel Dasilva checked to Gabriel Rouleau who led out with a bet. Dasilva decided to raise the action only to find Rouleau throwing in a three-bet. Dasilva would have none of that, however, making the choice to four-bet all in. Rouleau made the call and the hands were flipped over.

Rouleau: {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Dasilva: {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Neither player had a pair but both were four-to-the-flush. Dasilva's ace high was ahead and stayed ahead on the turn when the {6-Spades} came. However, the river brought the {9-Clubs}, pairing up Rouleau, thus awarding him with a massive pot. He now sits among our chip leaders while Dasilva has been crippled.
