Barry Good Start

Barry Greenstein raised in the cutoff and Tam Hang defended from the big blind. On the {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} flop and {4-Clubs} turn, Hang check-called Greenstein’s bets. Both players checked the river and Hang showed {Q-}{10-} for a pair of queens. Greenstein turned over a superior pair however with {A-}{3-} to win the pot.

The next hand, Greenstein raised again and Darren Woods called from the big blind. Like Hang before, Woods check-called Greenstein’s bets on the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop and {K-Spades} turn. However on the river this time, once Woods checked, Greenstein fired one more bet which got his opponent to fold.

Greenstein was off to a solid start to the day.
