Moorman Suffers Huge Bad Beat

Chris Moorman took an awful beat.
Chris Moorman took an awful beat.

Chris Moorman opened for 45,000 from under the gun and it folded around to Anthony Ruberto in the small blind. Ruberto called and Oleksii Kovalchuk raised to 125,000 from the big blind. Moorman then reraised to 250,000, Ruberto got out of the way and Kovalchuk shoved. Moorman called and the hands were tabled.

Showdown:
Moorman: {A-Hearts} {Q-Clubs}
Kovalchuk: {A-Clubs} {2-Diamonds}

Board: {5-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {J-Clubs}

Kovalchuk flopped the straight and Moorman's rail gasped at the sight. They called for a seven on the river but didn't get it. Moorman slid to the bottom of the leaderboard and Kovalchuk is one of the top three stacks.
