Seelying Collapses

In a three way pot on fifth street, Nick Schulman had bet with a board showing {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{A-Spades} and James Seely raised with only about 2,500 behind. Men Nguyen tanked and ended up folding and Schulman set his opponent all in and got an automatic call. Seely showed buried kings to go with his {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} board but Schulman had paired his ace with {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} in the hole. Schulman made aces and jacks by seventh while Seely could only make kings up and was knocked out.

Ralph Perry

Perry: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts} / {4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Nguyen: {2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} / {A-Hearts}{4-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

Ralph Perry raised the completion and Men Nguyen re-raised. Perry made the call and called Nguyen’s bets on fourth and fifth with the last putting him all in. Perry was ahead with a pair of kings against the ace high and inside straight draw of Nguyen and his next card was the {7-Diamonds} which didn’t change anything. However Nguyen hit the {5-Hearts} which gave him the wheel and had Perry drawing dead as he hit the rail.

Ville’s Back to the Wahl

John Hennigan completed, Ville Wahlbeck raised and Hennigan made the call. On fourth Wahlbeck bet and Hennigan called. Hennigan paired up on fifth and bet only for Wahlbeck to move all in. Hennigan made the call and the players turned up their hands.

Hennigan: {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} / {10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Wahlbeck: {J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} / {J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

Wahlbeck was ahead with a pair of jacks and both players bricked on sixth when Hennigan got the {K-Clubs} and Wahlbeck the {3-Spades}. On seventh however, Hennigan took the lead with the {K-Spades} giving him two pair, kings and 10s. Wahlbeck was down to four outs for his tournament life, two jacks and two 10s. He squeezed the card and it was the {J-Diamonds} to give him trips and keep him alive in the tournament!
