Giant Killer

Before the dinner break we reported to you that there was a table of death in the Rio with Liv Boeree, Jonathan Little, John Phan, and Lars Bonding. What once was four is now just two thanks to Chris Dombrowski. He knocked out Boeree in that {A-}{K-} vs. {Q-}{Q-} hand, and he just took out Lars Bonding in this following hand.

A player in late position raised preflop to 750, Dombrowski in the cutoff re-raised to 1,825 and Lars Bonding re-raised all in for around 9,000 from the button. The original raiser folded and Dombrowski snap-called with {A-}{A-}. Bonding was in tough shape with {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and the board of {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{K-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades} was no help as he was sent to the rail. Dombrowski now has around 50,000 and is no doubt one of the chip leaders in the tournament
