Lykov and Esfandiari Will Face Off In Round 2

Level 6 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Round 1 at table #359 is complete. Maxim Lykov bested David Benefield when the two saw a flop of {8-}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. When the hands were turned up, Benefield flipped over {Q-}{8-} but were behind Lykov’s {10-}{10-}. There was no help for Benefield on the next two streets and Lykov won the match.

On the other side of the table, Antonio Esfandiari and David Peters got it all in preflop. Esfandiari held {A-}{Q-} and was ahead of Peters’ {Q-}{7-}. The board bricked out and Esfandiari advanced to the second round.
