Rinaldi Bursts the Bubble; We're in the Money!

Almost all the dealers had stood up except for one over on table 363, who had just announced that there was an all-in and a call between Claudio Rinaldi and Henry Lu.

Rinaldi had attempted to make a four-bet shove light with {K-Spades} {3-Hearts} , but was snapped off by Lu who had him dominated with {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs} . The flop was a gut-wrenching {7-Spades} {K-Clubs} {J-Clubs} , but Lu found the antacid he needed when the {10-Diamonds} spiked on the turn, giving him Broadway and leaving Rinaldi drawing dead. The river {8-Diamonds} was merely there for aesthetics.

There was a long wait and the room almost fell silent while the staff checked that the numbers were correct, until the announcement went up from the floorman: "Congratulations players, you're in the money!"

The players were euphoric, but the moment was brief though, as once the dealers sat back down, it was right back down to business!
