Flack Fired Up, Tops 100K
We missed the carnage but after dropping an early pot in the Hold'em round to leave him a bit short stacked, Layne "Back to Back" Flack has lived up to his moniker by winning consecutive massive pots, vaulting over the 100,000 chip threshold.
When asked for details Flack happily responded "Ya know... just stellar play. Just got it in good... you don't always have to suckout, sometimes you just get in good and go from there." Pressed for an actual hand, Flack reeled off a tale involving a "wrap nut low, nut flush that got there" during the Omaha-8 round.
An opponent sitting across from him was not as amused and Flack asked him, "I had the best hand every time, didn't I?" The other player sat stone faced and replied simply "No, no you did not." We will be sure to keep a better eye on Flack throughout the remainder of Day 2 to see if he can continue climbing up the leaderboard.
