Slow Bleed for Laak
Phil Laak raised from the cutoff and received a call from the player in the big blind. When the flop came down , the big blind checked, Laak bet, and the big blind check-raised. Laak called and then mucked when his opponent led out on the turn. The "Unabomber" left himself just 2,900.
To make matters worse, he lost another 1,000 on the next hand after raising preflop and then folding to a turn bet.
