It's safe to say that Robbie Verspui has played about 5% of the pots at today's final table, but he just took a nice one off Jonathan Spinks.
Spinks just called from the small blind and Verspui checked in the big blind. The flop was and Spinks checked. Verspui bet 35,000 and Spinks made the call.
The turn was the and both players checked. The river came the and Spinks bet 68,000. Verspui then re-raised all in for 481,000 total. Spinks looked as if he was going to call, but ended up laying it down and Verspui moved to 670,000.
Dan Makowsky and Jon Spinks saw a flop of which both players checked but when Makowsky also checked the turn, Spinks quickly fired out 32,000 and it was more than enough to win the pot from the chip leader.
Andrew Badecker, now back in a comfort zone raised to 50,000 preflop from UTG and Dan Makowsky called on the button. The flop came and Badecker continued with a bet of 48,000 but Makowsky bumped it up to 125,000 in total. Badecker then moved all in for his remaining 900,000 or so and Makowsky fidgeted a bit before deciding to let it go.
Andrew Badecker raised to 60,000 in the small blind and Erik Cajelais called.
The flop came Badecker bet 45,000 and Cajelais called.
The turn was the and again Badecker bet, this time 100,000. Cajelais again just elected to call.
The river was the and Badecker moved all in for 318,000. Cajelais called.
Badecker flipped over for a flopped full house and Cajelais tossed his for a rivered flush into the muck and Badecker picked up the pot. He is now at 1,050,000 and Cajelais has fallen to 600,000
Dan Kelly opened to 60,000 from early position and Dan Makowsky made it 175,000 in the cutoff but no sooner had Kelly four bet to 500,000 than Makowsky had moved all in and Kelly had basically shrugged and said, "Call.:

The Kelly rail bellowed for an ace but the board came and Makowsky shipped the biggest pot of the tournament. He's now a huge chip leader with around half the chips in play.
There were double-ups in back to back hands with six to go here in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout.
In the first hand, Dan Kelly raised to 40,000 under-the gun, Daniel Makowsky re-raised to 120,000 and Andrew Badecker re-raised to 1,000,000 putting both Kelly and Makowsky all in. Kelly folded, but Makowsky eventually made the call.
Makowsky flipped over to the of Badecker. The board ran
Makowsky doubled up to 1,838,000 and Badecker fell back to about 1,600,000.
The very next hand, Badecker raised to 50,000 on the button and Dan Kelly re-raised to 112,000 from the small blind with Badecker making the call.
The flop came Kelly bet 136,000 and Badecker called.
The turn was the and Kelly open-shoved all in for around 545,000 with a call from Badecker.
Kelly had for top pair and Badecker had for second pair and a flush draw. The river was the , a brick for Badecker, and Kelly moved up to 1,376,000. Badecker, who was up around 2,500,000 only two hands before, fell to 807,000
