Dyer Eliminates Kim
John Kim lost most of his stack in a hand against Efren Garcia. We aren't sure when the money went in, but the board read and Kim's had been rivered by Garcia's .
Kim was left with 6,000 in chips and on the next hand, Gregory Dyer raised to 7,500 from the cutoff and Anthony Spinella re-raised to 22,000 from the small blind. Kim, who was in the big blind, tossed his last few chips into the pot and Dyer called the 22,000 to start a sidepot.
The flop came , Spinella bet 15,000 and Dyer called. Both players checked when the hit on the turn and the came on the river. Spinella said "ace high" but mucked his hand when Dyer showed the for a pair of queens. Kim mucked his hand as well and he was eliminated from the tournament.
Spinella must have recently won a large pot because even after losing some chips in this hand he still has a massive stack in front of him.
