McCool Spikes Two-Outer to Stay Alive

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

The Pavilion Room is slowly clearing out here at the Casino Employee's event. We have around 135 players left. After a player in middle position opened the pot with a 3,050 raise, Frank McCool from Mississippi re-raised all in for 12,875. The middle position player called and flipped over {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}. McCool showed {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

The flop showed up {2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades}, and the turn brought the {q-Hearts} to put McCool's opponent ahead. He began to get up and said "Nice catch, sir" but just as he was about to leave he spiked the {10-Diamonds} on the river and now sits with around 34,000.

2 Outer For The Win

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

On the button, David Doremus raised to 2,800 and Jake Revelle shoved all-in for 18,100. Doremus tanked for awhile and called for most of his stack and flipped over {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}. Revelle flipped over {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and they were off to the races.

The flop came {2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} to give Doremus the lead with top pair. The turn came {K-Clubs} to give Doremus three of a kind but Revelle spiked the {10-Hearts} on the river to make a full house and take the win.

Revelle was clearly ecstatic and he let the whole Pavilion Room know with the loudest yell of the day.

Revelle doubled up to almost 40,000 while Doremus was left with less than 5,000.

LaVallie: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}
Opponent: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}

The board ran {5-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and LaVallie has reached 45,000 chips.

Jordan Dhooghe Continues to Chip Up

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

Jordan Dhooghe from the Downstream Casino in Joplin, Missouri continues to build up his impressive chip stack here in level 8 play.

The button opened up the action with a raise to 2,500 and was called by the player in the small blind and Dhooghe in the big blind. The flop came up {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Both the small and Dhooghe checked and the button led out for another 2,500. The small blind folded and Dhooghe flat called. Both players checked again when the {2-Hearts} hit the turn. The button bet another 2,500 and Dhooghe flat called. A {10-Hearts} on the river brought about the same action with Dhooghe checking, the button betting 2,500 and Dhooghe flat calling.

Jordan Dhooghe flipped up {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and the button mucked his cards declaring he had queens.

Winning that pot bumped Dhooghe up to 95,000 chips.

Sam Beard Doubles

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

The first three players to act preflop all limped. The big blind checked his option and they saw the {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop four ways. All four players checked and the turn came the {3-Clubs}. The first player bet 2,000, the next one folded and Sam Beard moved all in for 5,675. After the fourth player folded, the initial turn bettor quickly called and found his {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} out-kicked by the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} of Beard. The river bricked with the {9-Clubs} and Beard moves get his stack to 13,000.
