Duke Outranks the Prince

Annie Duke was one of the shorter stacks today, but she's looking good after a chip infusion from the generous Prince of Poker. Scotty Nguyen raised from the hijack to 1,900, and Duke defended her big blind. The flop fell 
, and Duke checked. Nguyen checked behind. After the 
turn, Duke fired 2,500, and Nguyen called. She bet another 6,000 on the 
river, and Nguyen called again. Annie tabled 
for trip aces and scooped a much-needed pot. Duke is up to 36,000 while the Prince dropped back to 71,000.
