Hand #49: Joseph Cheong

Joseph Cheong raises to 1.325 million to open the pot. Two seats over, Jonathan Duhamel reraises to 3.1 million straight, and the action comes back to Cheong. He calls, and we'll see a flop heads-up.
It comes , and Cheong knocks the table. Duhamel continues out with a bet of 3.25 million, and his fans applaud his carefully chosen amount. Cheong, though, is unimpressed, and he calls without too much deliberation.
The arrives on the turn, and Cheong checks again. Duhamel checks it back, and the river comes the . Cheong figures now is the time for a bet, and he slides 8.25 million chips out into the pot. Now it's Duhamel with a decision, and he takes just a minute to consider before announcing the call.
Cheong shows his first, and we won't know what Duhamel had until we see it on TV. He mucks, and Cheong drags himself a big pot and the chip lead.
