Jetten Crippled, Eliminated

Peter Jetten
Peter Jetten

In a battle of the blinds, Peter Jetten somehow managed to get his last 1.045 million chips into the middle with {9-Hearts} {5-Clubs}. Big blind Dag Palovic called quickly with {A-Spades} {Q-Spades}, and it was actually Palovic all in for 1.030 million. Let's have a board, shall we?:

{J-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}. That's not much of a sweat for either player, and Palovic's trips are easily good enough to double him up. He's got twice as many chips as he had to start the hand (2.15 million), and Jetten is left with just 15,000.

He would be eliminated on the next hand, but not before another player went broke to give Jetten an extra ~$30,000 in payout.
