Table Troubles
For two consecutive days now, we've heard players complaining about the table draws. When Jon Aguiar took his seat on Day 4, he noticed that his entire Day 3 table was in his row. "Look!" Aguiar said. "Two players there, two players there, two players there. All from my Day 3 table. Something is wrong."
Fast forward about 12 hours, and we witnessed another round of questions as the chip bags came out last night. Along with the bags, the players receive their table draw slips, and a few of them were noticing the cluster effect once again where nearby players drew seats near to each other once again. There were some complaints to the floor staff, but they insist that the draw is fair and random.
Table 352 is the real eye catcher in our field. Tony Dunst and Matt Affleck are first and fourth in chips, respectively, and they were sitting back-to-back at adjacent tables all day yesterday. Twenty-four hours later, they've gotten even closer to each other. They'll be side-by-side in the one and two seats at 352 today, and it's Dunst with the favorable position on his fellow big stack.
That's a pairing we'll be keeping a close eye on to be sure.
