Day 4: Show Me the Money

C.R.E.A.M.
C.R.E.A.M.

Before you can final table the WSOP Main Event, you must make the money, and that is precisely what 747 of the 1203 remaining players will do today.

James Carroll is our frontrunner with 803,000 chips to his name and right behind him are Imari Love (741,000), Gerasimos Deres (733,700), Filippo Candio (727,300) and Max Casal (687,200).

Leading the notables is 1987 and 1988 champion Johnny Chan. Chan has 636,000 chips and is very healthy, but he is not our only former champ still alive. Robert Varkonyi and Scotty Nguyen are looking to add another Main Event victory as well.

There are plenty of other notables alive including Eric Baldwin, Josh Brikis, Adam Levy, Court Harrington, Steve Billirakis, Johnny Lodden, Patrik Antonius, Vanessa Selbst, Scott Clements, Annie Duke, Humberto Brenes, Isaac Baron, Barry Greenstein and Alexander Kostritsyn. All of them have proven track records and are more than capable of going deep in this tournament.

We are scheduled to play four levels today, but with the money bubble approaching, any audible would not surprise us. The cards will be in the air at high noon, and we hope that you keep it locked for all of your exclusive live updates here at PokerNews.com!
