The Grand Dame of Poker

That's the title Jeffrey Pollack gave to Wendeen Eolis in 2007 after she recorded her 5th cash at the World Series of Poker. Eolis was the first woman to ever cash in the Main Event, finishing 25th in 1986 for $10,000. In 1993 she cashed in the Main yet again, finishing 20th for $12,000.
We're going to keep our eyes on the Grand Dame today as she starts her quest for a third Main Event cash.
