Well we have our first elimination of the day over in the Pavillion Room. We're not sure of the gentleman's name as he made a hasty exit but the man responsible was Phil Armstrong who flopped a set of eights on the {6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop.

His opponent went all the way with his pocket aces, but couldn't improve on the {K-Hearts} turn and {9-Clubs} river. Armstrong is our early chip leader with a double stack.
