"I feel guilty constantly reporting this guy's downfall," sighed our reporter, but the truth is that Dan Shak has endured a horrific start to the day and is struggling to win a pot. He has been unfortunate, though.
Soon after his set-over-set encounter, Shak raised it up to 300 from early position and received two callers, one of whom was the big blind. On the 
flop, Shak continuation bet for 700. Just the big blind called.
With both players checking the 
turn, the big blind turned aggressor on the 
river by leading out for 700. Shak called, but found himself toppled by 
for the rivered straight.
Shak's stack dips once more; he's down to 7,800.
